Daily and Weekly Tasks:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual (Spanish/English) Accounting Assistant with a strong background in bookkeeping and property management accounting. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and be comfortable handling financial transactions and communicating directly with tenants, homeowners, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

-Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
-Reconcile monthly bank statements and maintain accurate records
-Post payments to homeowner and tenant accounts
-Generate and distribute late notices as needed
-Maintain clear and professional communication with tenants regarding their account status
-Collaborate effectively with property managers, tenants, homeowners, and vendors
-Manage the preparation and submission of delinquent homeowner accounts to the legal department

Requirements:

-Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping, preferably in a property management environment
-Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
-Fluency in both Spanish and English (Required)
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Strong communication skills and attention to detail
-This is a contract (1099) position ideal for someone who is proactive, reliable, and familiar with the day-to-day accounting needs of a property management operation.

Pay: $19.75 – $20.75 per hour
